I think Debbie's still in shock, but her heart is always in the right place. It's hard for her to accept that she raised someone so self-centered, someone who only considers what is best for him alone.

Ben is a great guy, but to be honest I never understood what he saw in Michael. They're not really on the same page, he's so much more educated and mature.
