Happy New Year!!!
Dec. 31st, 2013 06:42 pm

Well it’s just a little bit more than five hours to the big countdown. I’m having a lazy evening at home celebrating with my sister Mary. Watching 007 movies, eating sushi and drinking champagne.
Way back on New Year’s Eve for the millennium 1999-2000 we stated a tradition of writing down all of our wishes for the next year, as well as all the things we wanted to leave behind. Then at midnight after toasting the New Year we burn them in an open fire in the backyard. I know it’s a silly tradition but it gives us something to be hopeful for, and a way to say good bye to others…
I hope you all have a very Happy New Year filling with fun, friends and family…

See you next year!
