We had the most excellent holiday vacation together but it went by way to fast. We spent Christmas Eve with my parents and extended family. Brett helped my dad and grandpa chop wood in the afternoon, and we had a huge fire blazing in the fireplace.
Its a family tradition to put up the tree on Christmas eve, so Brett and my dad went off into the woods to chop that down as well, I think its my dad’s way of bonding with him, he needs to work through his uneasiness of losing his youngest child to a grown man.
