Great chapter. In so many fics, Michael continues to be married to Ben and blissfully sure his opinions are always right. He continues to be friends with the gang and never have real repercussions of treating and insulting Justin. I love this epilogue because Michael actually realizes too late that he’s the ass and wasted his whole life when he could have had something real (Ben) instead of a fantasy. That in the end, he can’t blame Justin no matter how hard he twist it in his mind that Justin somehow has mind control over Brian.
I wish Brian would hit him again for the way he spoke about his little girls, but maybe he didn’t want to do that in front of them. I’ll just imagine Deb doing that later when they get home. Hee Hee.
