I haven't downloaded a video from you in a long time. Does anybody know how to download from you-tube? Your help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks so much ~ Kathleen

Go into the video you want to download and under the video is 'About, Share and Add to, click on share and then click on Embed and copy and paste the writing in blue into your Livejournal post. I hope that helps darling ~ Yvonne xx

Oh thanks Darling, but what I'm trying to do is download it onto my hard drive... Because you-tube often deletes video for content or if the subscriber/maker cancels their account...

You used to be able to hover your mouse over the video and you-tube would ask you if you wanted to download the video. Now all I see is an upload video box and I can't figure out how to save it to my hard drive... I'm totally frustrated; pulls hair out...

I went to cnet.com and downloaded the free youtube downloader. AFter you do that then copy and paste the url into the space and choose which format you want. It then saves it into the file that you requested. It's that simple.
