I actually kinda like it here apart from the fact I can't post pics directly from my computer same way it was on LJ's scarp book. I guess there's always the option of setting up a photo bucket account but i honestly think I would find it difficult to work with. Not to mention PB also become very unreliable lately. Many pics and banners people uploaded to LJ in the past seemed to have vanished in recent months and AFAIK it has to do with PB's own servers acting up or something.
If YOU can figure out a quick and user-friendly way to upload pics on here I'd really appreciate it. It would be really sad if -once LJ is gone- we won't be able to upload story banners and other pics to DW same way we did on LJ

Date: 2017-01-07 07:52 pm (UTC)It's great to see you over here on DW. I hate to leave LJ, but with the servers moving to Russia, and all restrictions on internet post,plus all the problems I'm having accessing it my journal. I'm glad that we have a place to move to.
I know what you mean about finding other fangirls...
I did a qaf search and it listed all the open journals on DW, but those that choose to keep their content private don't show in the search. Lots of (LJ) people have made posts with their new DW URL.
The other way to find people is to go to the profile of someone you know, and view their friends section, and see if some of the fangirls your trying to find at listed. You can click on their user name and view their journal, and friend them that way. I know,it's a hassle, but what can you do?
The other thing is there are a lot of changes going on at Midnight Whispers, and once the new software is up and running Kim(Predec2) says you'll have to ability to have your own blog/journal, so that's promising...
